The Solar Map of Australia 2013, showing the locations and details of all the proposed, under construction and commissioned solar energy projects around Australia.
The Solar Map of Australia is produced each year by EcoGeneration.
The past twelve months have seen a key trend emerge out of Australia’s burgeoning solar sector – a jump in the number of megawatt-scale projects proposed, such as:
- The 53 MW Broken Hill Solar PV Plant in New South Wales
- The 20 MW Royalla Solar PV Plant in the Australian Capital Territory
- The 5 MW Mildura Solar PV Plant in Victoria
- The 2.5 MW Dubbo Solar One PV Plant in New South Wales.
These project updates and residential market statistics are new additions to the 2013 Solar Map of Australia, and are included alongside the most comprehensive map of proposed, under-construction and commissioned solar projects of more than 100 kW in capacity.
Detailed information about the solar energy projects listed on this Map is available via the EcoGeneration Solar Energy Project Database.
